Motrex, a leading automotive electronics company, has been awarded the EcoVadis Silver Medal, placing it in the top 15% of companies evaluated globally for ESG performance. Simultaneously, Motrex announced the publication of its inaugural “2025 Sustainability Report” on the 28th.

EcoVadis is a globally recognized organization that assesses companies' management practices in areas such as environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. In this evaluation, Motrex received high marks for its policies, implementation, and overall management systems.

According to the company, this inaugural Sustainability Report is the first to systematically outline Motrex’s goals, strategic initiatives, and key achievements. The report covers an introduction to the company, an overview of its business operations, governance structure, double materiality assessment, and key activities and data related to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices.

While maintaining its established quality and environmental management systems, Motrex has additionally obtained ISO 27001 (Information Security Management System) and ISO/SAE 21434 (Automotive Cybersecurity International Standard) certifications by 2025. The company has enhanced its security management processes and risk control systems to align with global standards.

The need for robust information management by parts suppliers is increasing across the global automotive supply chain. Regulatory frameworks, especially in the EU, are broadening requirements for disclosure of supply chain information and verification of carbon emissions. Vehicle manufacturers are also adopting criteria such as carbon emissions, energy use, human rights, and safety as key standards when selecting and managing partners.
