In addition, the Company enforces a strict confidentiality policy to ensure that reporting parties can submit reports with complete peace of mind.

Embezzlement or misuse of assets, conflicts of interest, unfair transactions, and violations of internal regulations

Type 3
False preparation or manipulation of reports and disclosure documents, concealment or distortion of material information, and unfair transactions involving undisclosed information

Type 4
Personal use of company assets, false or inflated expense claims, and improper use of business expenses

Type 5
Breach or misuse of personal, customer, or business partner information, IT security incidents, and violations of security regulations

Type 6
Child labor, forced labor, human trafficking, discrimination, and violations of freedom of association

Type 7
Improper conduct involving abuse of authority or relationships, including sexual harassment, workplace bullying, verbal abuse, and other forms of human rights violations.

Type 8
Concealment of industrial accidents, non-compliance with safety regulations, and inadequate workplace safety management, including at supplier sites.

Type 9
Human rights, environmental, and safety issues involving suppliers, as well as unfair subcontracting practices

Type 10
False submission or non-submission of CMRT/EMRT reports, or involvement with high-risk smelters or refiners

Type 11
Violations of environmental laws and regulations, illegal emissions, and improper handling of waste and hazardous substances

Any ethics or ESG violations not covered in the categories above
Reports may be subject to preliminary procedures, including verification of reported facts and consultation with relevant departments. The investigation period may vary depending on the scope and nature of each case.

The identity of reporting parties and the contents of reports are strictly protected under a secure system that ensures absolute confidentiality. Reports are handled exclusively by a limited number of authorized personnel who are bound by strict confidentiality obligations.

Reporting parties shall not be subject to any discrimination or adverse treatment in relation to their employment status.

Individuals who cooperate in fact-finding investigations, such as by providing statements or materials, shall also receive the same level of protection as reporting parties.

Acts that violate the whistleblower protection policy—including the tracking of whistleblowers, retaliation, and the unauthorized disclosure of reported content—are strictly prohibited.

If reporting parties suffer any adverse treatment, they may request corrective action and protection, and the Company shall take all necessary measures to minimize any disadvantage.
